Kimono workshop

These gorgeous, unisex, versatile kimonos are great as a dressing gown or as a loose fitting jacket for the summer (can be made in a shorter length). They look great in a range of fabrics; cotton, viscose or silk mix.

You will learn:

  • to cut & prepare fabric
  • add pockets (optional)
  • add belt carriers (optional)
  • add contrast edging

Additional costs: You will need 2 metres cotton fabric for the main kimono, 2 long quarters for neck edging & belt, 2 fat quarters for pockets & cuffs (scraps can also be used), thread. Everything else is included in the cost. Please email me for quantities if you wish to make a shorter kimono.

Suitable for: Someone who can use a sewing machine.
