
Crochet is the perfect craft for a beginner as all you need to get started is a hook, some yarn and lots of enthusiasm!
In this course we shall start at the very beginning with basic chains and wind our way through doubles, trebles with some increasing, decreasing and fancy bits along the way. The course is spread across 4 sessions which will allow us to build our knowledge gradually with lots of time for getting to grips with pattern reading and any questions you have.
Over the sessions you will learn;
Week 1 Decorative pot cover
• Foundation chain
• Double crochet
• Double crochet decrease
Week 2 Rainbows
• Treble crochet
• Increasing
• Changing colour
Week 3/4 The Granny Square
• Working into a ring
• Working a sequence of stitches
• Using and making spaces
• Joining with crochet/whip stitch
Suitable for: Complete beginner. This course runs over 4 weeks on a Monday 6-8.30pm 16/11, 23/11, 30/11 & 7/12/26.
