Simple bias cut skirt

These gorgeous, comfortable yet versatile skirts can be made in a range of fabrics. The bias cut gives a semi fitted look with ease of movement. The elasticated  waist allows for extra comfort. Skirts look great in satin backed crepe, viscose, lightweight satin or anything that drapes.

You will learn:

  • how to cut fabric on the bias
  • how to sew on the bias
  • attach elastic
  • sew a rolled hem with the overlocker

Additional costs: You will need 2 metres of 150cm wide fabric (this is for a knee length skirt so please email me for quantities for longer length). Matching thread, 2" black elastic is supplied.

Suitable for: Someone who can use a sewing machine.
