This comfy lounge set is a great intro to working with jersey. They can be made on a standard sewing machine or if you want to get to grips with your overlocker this is ideal! You will make some loose fitting flared bottoms with elasticated waist (pockets optional) and a round neck long sleeved top.
You will learn:
You will need: Approx 4 metres of cotton jersey, two way or four way (two way is easier to work with), matching thread. A light to medium weight fabric works well, ribbed jersey or a jersey viscose mix. I have a light teal or rust plain jersey available to buy at the workshop if preferred.
Knowledge Level: Suitable for someone who is confident using a sewing machine and has made simple garments.
Please note: You are welcome to bring your overlocker but it needs to be under 2 years old or PAT tested. I will need your measurements prior to the workshop to prepare your patterns and calculate fabric amounts.
