Shirring & smocking
Adding shirring elastic to skirts, tops, trousers and dresses gives a comfortable and decorative finish to your garment. During the workshop you will learn how to sew with shirring elastic & also create decorative smocking.
You will learn:
- How to use shirring elastic in your machine
- How to make neat even rows of stitching
- How to handle your fabrics when using sheering elastic
- How to create simple smocking
