Heyday Dungarees - Waves & Wild
The Heyday Dungarees from Waves & Wild combine comfort with a funky sense of style. This is a relaxed fit dungaree/overall. It has tie straps which don’t need undoing in order to take the garment on and off. There are also FIVE pockets for hiding all your stuff! They are designed to be long and worn rolled at the ankle. You'll receive your own pattern, instructions will be emailed prior to the workshop.
You will learn:
- to adjust & fit a pattern (leg width can be adjusted)
- how to insert side pockets
- add a top stitch for decoration
- add button holes (optional)
You will need:
Suggested fabrics: Medium weight woven fabric such as corduroy, denim or linen. Softer fabrics will create a more flattering garment than stiff/structured ones.
Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 1.6 metres to 3.2 metres depending on size (1 3/4 - 3 1/2 yd) . Please email me with your size so I can calculate quantities.
Suitable for: Someone who can use a sewing machine & can make simple garments.
